Showlow, AZ (January 23, 2015)—Chairman David Tenney formally announced this afternoon that he will be stepping down as a Supervisor at the Navajo County Board of Supervisors meeting on Tuesday, February 10th to accept a position within the administration of Governor Doug A. Ducey. The Governor announced today that Mr. Tenney will be the new director of the Residential Utility Consumer Office (RUCO) replacing Mr. Patrick Quinn, effective Monday, February 16th.


Navajo County “PUSHES” Employees toward Health and Wellness for 2015

Holbrook, AZ—The new Navajo County PUSH Program is a worksite wellness program created by employees for Navajo County employees. The program envelops healthy eating habits, with exercise, financial wellness and stress reduction.


Navajo County Board of Supervisor Chairman Jesse Thompson Recognized for His Service and Leadership in 2014

Holbrook, AZ—Chairman Jesse Thompson turned over the Chairman position to David Tenney, and Supervisor Dawnafe Whitesinger then took Tenney's Vice Chair position for 2015. Supervisor Jesse Thompson has served as a Board Supervisor for 22 years. He has represented his district and the County; formulating partnerships and collaborations among community members, stakeholders and residents to improve the well-being of Tribal and non-Tribal communities.
