Show Low, AZ (Nov. 26, 2013) —Law enforcement officers daily encounter people struggling to provide for themselves, their families and their animals, which is why law enforcement agencies across the northland are partnering with C.A.L. Ranch in Show Low to kick off “Snug & Full for the Holidays,” beginning this Friday, November 29.
HOLBROOK - For the past few weeks, members of the Navajo County Sheriff's office have been undergoing a series of intense training exercises to improve officer safety and tactics.
The genesis of the training has been drawn from the “Below 100” initiative, a national program that is designed to reduce police line-of-duty deaths to fewer than one hundred per year.
By the end of next year, Navajo County will conclude a major effort with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) that will result in significant savings to
many property owners in the White Mountain region. Over the past few years, Navajo County has been working with FEMA to correct, and more accurately depict, the Flood Hazard
Zone designations in the County.
